Scheduled Maintenance

ArchivesSpace Upgrade Friday, Sept 4 at 5:00 p.m. – Sunday, Sept 6 at 12:00 p.m. Sep 4, 2026 17:00 - Sep 6, 2026 12:00 EDT

ArchivesSpace will be unavailable during this maintenance window while the system is upgraded from version 4.1.1 to 4.2.1. The update includes important accessibility improvements, along with changes to search indexing, record data, and other system components.

The upgrade itself is expected to be completed quickly; however, a full system reindex is required and can take 18–24 hours. ArchivesSpace will remain unavailable until the reindex is complete.

Scheduled - An HPC Cluster maintenance window is scheduled for Tuesday, 8/25/2026, 6AM - 12PM

This outage impacts most of the HPC services. It includes the new HPC clusters (login and compute nodes), new OnDemand applications, and Tier 1 HPC storage access from the HPC cluster. All running jobs during the maintenance window will be affected.

Please plan your work on the Tufts HPC cluster accordingly to avoid the maintenance window. Any jobs running on the cluster during the maintenance will need to be resubmitted once the cluster returns to service. An announcement will be issued upon completion of the maintenance.

Scheduled - TechConnect (ServiceNow) will undergo a scheduled upgrade from the Yokohama release to the Australia release on August 20.

During the maintenance window, TechConnect may be temporarily unavailable or experience intermittent service. The upgrade will help ensure we remain current with ServiceNow's latest platform enhancements, security updates, and capabilities.
